Prayer-eoke: V’ahavta (Chanted)
The V’ahavta is a passage from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:5-9 and Numbers 15:40-41), which is chanted according to Torah trope.
Technically the V’ahavta is part of the Shema, which traditionally has three paragraphs (Deuteronomy 6:4–9, 11:13-21, and Numbers 15:37–41). But this video is made according to Reform custom which treats the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4 plus the Baruch Shem line from midrash) as a separate prayer from the V’ahavta since they are sung or chanted so differently.
